Axia is here!

Hi!

So I participated in the Diversion Jam with this game: "Axia's Clock Dimensions". It's the second time I made an unreal engine game for a jam and I think I improved quite a lot since then. The first one was in januray with the global game jam and back then, I just started learning unreal for a few months before going for it. This time, I had that experience plus the months prior to the jam to show off. Basically a whole year of messing up with unreal engine.

As usual, I started by overscoping the game, even though I already cut my ideas in half. Then when I started implementing things and still cutting ideas again until around 3 hours before the end of the Jam. Then, I started panicking but managed to correct all the packaged bugs that I could see before uploading the game.

The only thing I regret is not having the time to add  an option system but even without that, the game should run smoothly. I know because I am using a computer with a 1070 hahaha. I still think about all the things that I could have added but for now my focus will be to fix my sleep schedule because having only 4 to 5 hours of sleep has started to get a toll on me.

Also having the kid wanting to watch baby shark on my computer instead of the TV was a good handicap for this Jam but I made it. I published yet another Jam game with unreal in the span of 77 hours and that's something that I would have never thought possible just a year back. That is just awesome and that feeling will stay with me for a while.

If you like the game, consider going to the Diversion Jam Page to vote for it. They shared the voting link there but that's only for people who have a Diversion account.

Thank you for reading and see you next time!
